David has worked with GHD for more than 14 years and has strong experience ranging from concept development to detailed design and construction management, predominantly in the transportation sector. Previously, he was the Operating Centre Manager for GHD's Tasmanian business and Victorian Manager for Transportation and Municipal Engineering.

Rob Lowther is the Operating Centre Manager for GHD's Tasmanian operations, responsible for our business in the state and managing our offices in Hobart, Burnie and Launceston. He is a Mechanical Engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in planning, design, construction, supervision and commissioning of water and wastewater infrastructure throughout Europe, the Middle East, South Africa and the Asia Pacific.

Prior to this appointment, Rob spent a decade in our Brisbane office. During this period he performed senior management roles as well as managing large projects from conception through to commissioning and operation.

Warren Traves is GHD's Operating Centre Manager for South Queensland, responsible for more than 800 people in our Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Gympie, Hervey Bay and Bundaberg offices.

Prior to this appointment Warren was GHD’s Global Leader for Water. He has extensive experience in a broad range of civil engineering activities, including roads, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, water and sewerage design and planning, investigations and detailed design.

Ashley Wright is GHD’s Operating Centre Manager for Western Australia (WA). Well known within WA’s infrastructure industry for his leadership abilities, Ashley has played a key role in the development and success of the Operating Centre over the past six years using a collaborative approach to team building and project delivery.

Ashley joined GHD in 2004 and has previously held a number of senior roles including SGM Transport, Service Line Leader Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering, Engineering Manager New Perth Bunbury Alliance, and Operations Manager WA.

Dave Clark is GHD’s Operating Centre Manager for the Northern Territory. He is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with almost 20 years experience in the open cut mining environment and has worked on various engineering, geology and civil geotechnical projects. These have predominantly included slope stability analysis and design studies, geotechnical assessments, leading geotechnical and hydrogeological risk management programs and overall project management.

Dave also had extensive experience on projects across other industries and is highly engaged with our clients.

Dean is GHD’s Manager for Victoria – leading more than 800 people in the sectors of water, energy and resources, environment, property and buildings and transportation.

In his 20 years at GHD, he has worked in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and the Philippines. Prior roles include Manager for South East Asia and Business Group Manager for GHD's water business in Victoria.

He is a civil engineer with considerable experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects. He has also held project leadership team roles on the Sugarloaf Pipeline Alliance, Barwon Water Alliance and Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area Renewal Alliance.

José Foruria is the Manager of the North Queensland Operating Centre, which consists of office locations in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and Gladstone, with the recent addition of the Whitsundays Office. In recent years, he was the Business Development Manager and has played a key role in North Queensland delivering large water, wastewater and civil projects such as water supplies, water and wastewater treatment plants and infrastructure systems. José has managed significant projects to the benefit of the region, including the AUD100 million water and wastewater projects for Whitsunday Regional Council as well as Defence's AUD500 million upgrade of Lavaracks Barracks, Townsville.

Jim joined GHD in 1993, as a graduate engineer, and is currently the manager for the South Australian Operating Centre. Jim has served in leadership positions for GHD in Australia, Asia and the Americas.

Jim has significant experience in major infrastructure and environment projects. His recent project leadership experience includes his roles as project director for the AUD2.5 billion Westlink project planning and consultation study, program alliance leadership team member for the AUD150 million Melbourne Water Pipelines Alliance and project director for the AUD3.5 billion Victorian Desalination project.

Jim’s background is in water, environment and project management.
