Maynilad Water Services Inc. (MWSI) is one of two
concessionaires in the world’s largest water and sewage
privatization and serves a population of over 7.5 million in
Manila’s west zone concession area.
Over a 4-year period GHD was mainly
responsible for its project and construction management and project
documentation, plus a range of services including asset management,
and design of over 80 projects. After being awarded one of
two concessions to operate and maintain west zone water and
sewerage system, Maynilad Water Services, Inc. embarked on a major
plan to upgrade and increase its services and facilities. For this
task, MWSI engaged GHD to a long-term agreement to provide the
necessary expertise to guide them in its implementation.
