Extending the TTC’s line 2 further into Scarborough
The mission
To support Toronto's economic and sustainability goals through new transit infrastructure that delivers modern rapid transit, reduces traffic congestion and curbs greenhouse gases.
The challenge
Our response
In partnership with our consortium OneT+, we are providing hydrogeology, geotechnical, tunnel, survey and environmental services. We are also working with Metrolinx and project stakeholders to support permitting and any potential constructability challenges.
Technical details of the project include tunnelling, construction of three new stations, modifications to the existing Kennedy Station and improving connections to existing GO train and TTC bus services, as well as the Eglinton Crosstown and its supporting infrastructure.
The impact
The Scarborough Subway Extension will provide a new seamless subway service between Scarborough and the downtown core, improving transit for area residents and supporting planned development in Scarborough. In addition to offering fast, convenient travel options, the project will reduce traffic congestion and greenhouse gas emissions.
We are committed to supporting our clients in reaching their goals.
We are dedicated to supporting the community and our client while providing solutions that benefit all stakeholders and a positive outcome for everyone.
