GHD named Morgan Sindall Infrastructure design partner along with Baker Hicks on Sellafield IDP framework
Leading professional services organisation GHD, has been selected by Morgan Sindall Infrastructure as a design partner on the Sellafield Infrastructure Delivery Partnership (IDP) framework. Along with Baker Hicks, GHD will support Morgan Sindall Infrastructure as part of the IDP, which will deliver projects and tasks to support essential services at Sellafield like electricity distribution, water, road and rail networks, bridges, foundations and security installations.
The contract will be for an initial 9 years with an option for a further 6 years, through to 2040.
As the Electrical Distribution Partner, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure will lead on maintaining and upgrading the Sellafield site’s electrical network, supported by GHD and Baker Hicks as design partners.
The contract will see the delivery of the complete detail design plus all procurement, installation, construction, commissioning, and handover activities that form part of project delivery.
