Twenty three girls from Suva-Nausori corridor participated in the event's many activities, including a virtual show, fun experiments and activities, presentations and career talks carried out by trainers and inspiring local leaders.

During the workshop, participants heard from our female engineers and designers working in the water, environmental and civil sectors about career opportunities and possibilities in the industry.

As a proud partner of Graduate Women Fiji (GWF), it was a privilege to host this workshop to help empower more women in Fiji to choose careers in the infrastructure industry. We believe it is important to support events of this nature to break down the gender-based barriers preventing local women from developing and advancing their interest in STEM.”
