GHD, a leading professional services company, has secured a significant contract as part of the RIM/DPI Joint Venture LLC with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Honolulu District. The five-year, $190 million Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract encompasses comprehensive architecture-engineering services across the Pacific region. GHD acquired RIM Architects (RIM) in July 2024, uniting expertise in architecture and design while strengthening capabilities for US Federal projects.

The contract, which runs from March 2025 to March 2030, will support US Military Construction (MILCON) and Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) construction, Civil Works and other Department of Defense service components and support agencies.

"This award represents our continued growth in the US Federal sector and builds on our strong relationship with the US Army Corps of Engineers," said Scott Estergard, Key Client Lead - Army at GHD. "As the second time our joint venture has secured this contract, we're proud to continue delivering innovative, sustainable solutions for critical defense infrastructure."

The scope includes architectural engineering and design services for renovation or new construction of various military facilities, including barracks, company operations facilities, tactical equipment maintenance facilities, aircraft maintenance facilities, administrative facilities, family and unaccompanied housing, warehouses, schools, medical facilities and recreational facilities.

"Our integrated team brings together exceptional architects, engineers and designers who understand the unique demands of military infrastructure," said David McVeigh, GHD Studio Director, US West Design Studio and former CEO of RIM Architects. "This contract allows us to leverage our combined expertise while supporting strategic US defense objectives throughout the Pacific region."

The contract will incorporate key design considerations including historical preservation, antiterrorism/force protection and sustainable design development. Additional services encompass site development, installation utility design, topographic surveys and various engineering disciplines including structural, electrical, mechanical, communications and cybersecurity.

GHD's extensive experience in the US Federal sector has positioned the company as a trusted partner for delivering complex infrastructure projects that support mission-critical operations.
