Leading global professional services company GHD has been engaged by Aula Energy, an Australian renewable energy developer specialising in utility-scale wind, solar and storage projects, to provide construction management services (CMS) for the Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm, near Georgetown in South Australia’s Mid North region, on the traditional lands of the Nukunu people.

GHD will deliver a full suite of services for the project including contractor coordination and supervision on site, health, safety and environmental compliance, community and stakeholder engagement, project management, contract administration, planning and scheduling, document control, cost control, and project reporting.

Aula Energy is advancing the Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm as part of its commitment to supporting Australia’s renewable energy transition.

GHD’s role will help maintain project momentum as the development progresses into the construction phase. The Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm will comprise 42 GE wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 256 megawatts (MW). The project includes 12.8 kilometres of new transmission infrastructure connecting the site to the existing Davenport–Brinkworth 275 kV line. Spanning multiple land parcels along the Campbell Range, the development integrates farmland historically used for grazing and cropping.

Aula Energy’s development approach prioritises long-term partnerships and meaningful collaboration with regional communities, landholders and First Nations groups, reflecting its commitment to sustainable, shared-value outcomes. GHD’s Delivery Phase Services (DPS) team will lead the CMS engagement, drawing on multidisciplinary experience from across Australia to help manage construction risks, optimise delivery pathways, and support strong commercial outcomes in South Australia’s dynamic energy market.

Chad Hymas, Aula Energy CEO said “We’re pleased to be partnering with GHD to deliver Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm. At Aula Energy we’re building enduring partnerships to lead Australia’s energy transition, faster, smarter, and with shared value for all. With the support of our partners, we’re committed to delivering a project that creates meaningful, long-term benefits for the Nukunu People, local communities, shareholders, and the sector.”

Craig Palmer, GHD’s DPS General Manager, said, “We are really pleased to be supporting Aula Energy on this important project. Our focus is on providing a tailored and collaborative construction management approach that reflects Aula Energy’s project objectives and community commitments. We look forward to contributing our delivery experience and technical capabilities to help progress the Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm — a project that marks an important step forward for the development of Australia’s wind sector and is set to make a lasting contribution to South Australia’s clean energy future.”
