GHD appoints future fuels leader
Energy transition, hydrogen and future fuels specialist, Steve Yeardley has been appointed to the newly created position of Australian Future Fuels Leader, at global professional services firm, GHD. The appointment will see Steve play a leading role in assisting clients in navigating the energy transition.
Steve has operated his own engineering consultancy focused on energy technology development and commercialisation for the past 15 years, and most recently led an APAC energy transition business for a multinational engineering consultancy.
Steve brings specialist knowledge and experience in both conventional and emerging energy technology, including technical expertise in organic feedstock conversion and upgrading technologies such as gas-to-liquids (GTL), pyrolysis, gasification, catalytic upgrading, synthetic fuel production and gas treatment processes.
In his new role Steve will focus on leading the development and delivery of clean energy strategies for clients, including alternative solutions to foster the transition to a low carbon future in the energy generation, oil and gas, water, transportation, infrastructure and built environment sectors.
