Steve Lécuyer Appointed GHD’s Executive General Manager for Canada
Global professional services company GHD has appointed Steve Lécuyer as the new Executive General Manager for Canada, effective April 7, 2024. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Lécuyer brings deep Canadian industry knowledge and leadership to his new role. He is based in Montréal.
Lécuyer has demonstrated commitment and leadership throughout his nearly 30 years at GHD. He began his journey with the firm as a field engineer with Inspec-Sol, which merged with GHD in 2014. His most recent role as Regional General Manager of Eastern Canada has further solidified his position as a respected leader within GHD across the country.

In his new role, Lécuyer will work with GHD’s Canadian leadership team to drive transformative and strategic initiatives shaping the next generation of leaders. In a constantly changing environment his focus will be to support clients and communities, fostering opportunities for collaboration to deliver the best solutions to solve client challenges. Additionally, he will work to further enhance GHD’s presence and impact in Canada with an accelerated growth mindset. Steve will lead the 2,000+ engineers, architects and scientists to deliver engineering, architecture, environmental and construction solutions to public and private sector clients in Canada.
Steve’s role will expand on the strong relationships he and his team have built with Canada’s public and private sectors. His track record of supporting clients to navigate complex challenges is a testament to his dedication and focus to deliver the best outcome in any situation. I’m confident he’ll continue to bring a unique and trusted perspective that will help to enable us to continue to build upon and realize our strategic goals for the region.”
Lécuyer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering from the École de Technologie Supérieure in Montréal and completed training in organizational leadership with Melbourne Business School and most recently, he completed Harvard Business School’s General Management Program.
Lécuyer succeeds Chris Hunter, who was appointed CEO, Americas, on February 12, 2024.
