GHD has strengthened its transportation leadership in Atlanta by adding Jeremy Busby, P.E., Steven Sheffield, P.E. and NaKeeta Batson, CSM. Together, they bring extensive experience in transportation planning and delivery, intelligent transportation systems, digital mobility, client service and complex infrastructure programs. 

The appointments expand GHD’s ability to support transportation agencies and infrastructure owners across Georgia and the Southeast as they respond to growth, evolving mobility needs and increasing demand for integrated, technology-enabled solutions.

Jeremy Busby, P.E. | Atlanta Transportation Leader 

Jeremy brings more than 25 years of experience in transportation planning, program management, project delivery and infrastructure leadership. He has led large-scale transportation, safety, transit and mobility programs across Georgia and has served as a trusted advisor to transportation agencies throughout the region. Most recently, he has led program management initiatives for transportation, transit, aviation, water and industrial clients. 

Steven Sheffield, P.E. | Regional ITS & Digital Mobility Practice Leader 

Steven brings more than 20 years of transportation industry experience, with a focus on intelligent transportation systems planning, design, deployment and operations, as well as emerging mobility technologies. He has helped agencies use technology, data and innovation to improve safety, mobility and operational performance. Based in GHD’s Atlanta office, Steven will support the continued growth of the firm’s ITS, digital mobility and transportation technology capabilities across the Southeast.

NaKeeta Batson, CSM | Client Service Leader, Atlanta Metro Transportation

NaKeeta brings more than 20 years of experience delivering multi-billion-dollar infrastructure programs and building integrated teams to support complex transportation priorities. Her experience spans strategic advisory, program management, construction management and project integration. In her role, she will connect client needs with tailored technical and advisory solutions and create sustainable pathways for long-term growth in Atlanta.

Together, the three leaders broaden GHD’s ability to support clients across planning, advisory, program management, project delivery, digital mobility and transportation technology, while contributing to the firm’s continued growth in Metro Atlanta and across the Southeast.
