Set to be the largest apartment building in Bowden at this time, The B Apartments presents a significant opportunity to interpret the design aspirations for Bowden with a socially focused development model.
Our response
Located at a central site in Bowden, the direct relationship with Kevin Taylor Park, the Market and the Bowden Village Park informs the key design principles.
Investec required a minimum of 32 apartments to be designated to Key Workers through a rent–then-buy scheme.
The impact
The articulation into four blocks, each with its own architectural character and employing diversity in design approach, effectively creates a ‘community of buildings’ that relates to the spirit of the development model.
