We’re fortunate to work with many talented people, and the new Global Alumni Community is a chance to keep the conversation and connections going beyond our people’s time at GHD, as well as…

• Encouraging project referrals and recommendations
• Enhance employer branding and reputation
• Cultivating advocacy among alumni, enabling them to stay abreast of our technical advancements and project successes, and maintaining a sense of pride and affiliation
• Strengthening connections to the GHD Foundation
• Supporting hiring processes by providing referrals or coming back as returning employees themselves
• Providing a community of thought leaders and potential mentors

Alumni become clients, suppliers, boomerang employees, mentors to current workers, and ambassadors for the GHD brand. A 2019 report by PeoplePath and Cornell University indicates that about a third of corporate alumni maintain connections with previous employees as clients, partners, or vendors – and that 15 per cent of new hires come from alumni rehires and referrals.
