GHD-designed vertiport to launch in Dubai, advancing the future of urban air mobility
GHD, commissioned by Skyports, has delivered the design for Dubai’s inaugural vertiport at Dubai International Airport, a landmark project for the city’s aerial taxi network set to launch by 2026. The facility integrates passenger amenities, eVTOL charging infrastructure and multideck parking into a bold, flexible design that complements Dubai’s advanced transport ecosystem.
By addressing the unique challenges of urban environments, GHD’s work supports the safe and efficient introduction of aerial taxis. Skyports and GHD’s collaboration delivers a thoughtful approach to infrastructure design, offering a practical foundation for the future of urban mobility in Dubai.
