GHD Recognised at the MEP Middle East Awards 2025
GHD has been recognised at the MEP Middle East Awards 2025, with Mahmoud Elsawaf, Electrical Leader at GHD, named Electrical Engineer of the Year at the ceremony held at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai.
The awards recognised outstanding individual contributions from GHD’s engineering leaders,
at this year’s awards ceremony:
- Mahmoud Elsawaf, Electrical Leader at GHD, was named Electrical Engineer of the Year.
- Houssam Choukair, Mechanical Leader at GHD, received Highly Commended recognition in the Mechanical Engineer of the Year category.
Organised by ITP Media Group, the MEP Middle East Awards recognise individuals and organisations demonstrating leadership, technical expertise and innovation within the built environment.
This recognition reflects GHD’s continued focus on delivering high quality, technically robust and sustainable engineering solutions, supported by the strength of its multidisciplinary teams across the Middle East and wider EMEA region.
The awards highlight the role of engineering excellence in enabling resilient infrastructure and high performing buildings across the region.
