Our response

The new facility is a core element of the council modernisation strategy. GHD Design worked closely with stakeholders to shape a solution that met the council’s diverse operational needs while optimising investment and delivery within a constrained program.

The design features purpose-built maintenance workshops, SCADA systems and flexible office spaces, facilitating improved workflows and emergency response capabilities.

Our multidisciplinary team responded swiftly during the construction phase, effectively overcoming the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic. The design embraces a refined yet functional approach, prioritising simplicity and standardisation in construction methodologies.

Sustainability is integrated through the use of durable materials and efficient systems, creating a resilient, long-term asset for the council.
